A note to our valued Patio Palace customers

Jan 31/22

As we go into our 2022 season, we wish to thank all our customers for your business and patience.  The last few years have been very challenging, and we do not see this improving in 2022.  With raw material shortages, staffing shortages, and major shipping delays we have still been able to furnish a lot of backyards in the Windsor, London, and beyond.  We, at Patio Palace truly appreciate your business and support.

As we move into 2022, and because of these challenges not improving.  We have made larger commitments to most of our suppliers and hope this helps alleviate some of these pressures.

  • Custom Order.     This is a large part of our offering but with shortages from Sunbrella fabric and many suppliers, we will be unable to control delivery dates.  With the shortage of Containers out of China, outdoor furniture and grills have been delayed.  Manufactures are not willing to give ETA’s and when they do, they are often delayed.  We are still willing to take custom orders but just bear in mind that doesn’t guarantee when it will come in.  We will do our best to keep you updated on status, but a lot of times the status is no ETA.

  • Product Not Available.     Due to unprecedented demand for outdoor products some items that we previously carried will not be available.  The manufactures are scaling back their lines to streamline production. This was very apparent in our Barbecue Division in 2021.  As said above, we have made larger commitments and leased more warehouse space to get the product in when it is available, but we still see issues in 2022.

  • Pricing.     To offset the increase in shipping and production costs all our suppliers have implemented significant price increase effective immediately. We will continue to give our customers fair and competitive pricing.  We are currently trying to keep our web site and in store pricing accurate, but it can take time to do such with such with the amount of product that we offer.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all try to navigate these unprecedented times.
